KatePhotography > I was relaxing in my backyard and I kept hearing a strange noise. I looked around at the plants and bushes, nothing. Then I looked up!! What a surprise, thankfully I had my camera in hand.

KatePhotography > This hawk lives in our neighborhood and we see him frequently. He was sitting in this tree, but a smaller bird was very upset at his presence. We think they must have had a nest nearby. After having his tail repeatedly hit by the smaller bird, he finally flew off.

KatePhotography > Off to explore other parts.
